Aerolite lightweight masonry fillers are available as either:

Combined fines and aggregate product known as  Block Mix

3.0mm minus light weight sand product

bullet

A washed 7.00mm aggregate product

Block mix can be produced as either:

bullet

5.00mm minus product (by special request)

  Many manufactures use Aerolite Block Mix in their grey block manufacture to give:

bulletHigh Strength: Strengths of up to 18 mega Pascal compressive strength can be achieved with commercial mixes
bulletLight weight: when compared to dense weight aggregate and sands, weight savings of up to 35% can be achieved
bulletImproved Fire Rating: use of block mix in replacement of conventional materials can more than double the fire rating of the finished block
bulletImproved Acoustic performance: Use of block mix can improve acoustic performance

bulletSome manufactures prefer to use combinations of fines cuts and aggregate in different ratios to that normally found in the as produced block mix product.
