Scoria Products		 Aerolite's light weight Scoria products are the most environmentally friendly quarry products available for general construction, agricultural and decorative uses due to their being the lightest commercially available natural aggregates in the Melbourne area.  Light weight -
Aerolite aggregate and fines products are half the weight and hence twice give twice the yield of equivalent aggregate and fines products with no sacrifice in quality or durability.
Our products offer real value in most construction applications, both as a raw product and in helping to reduce transport and handling costs.
Vesicular structure-
Aerolite scoria is naturally aerated and so our products have many benefits over conventional aggregates. These include high moisture retention, high surface area and light weight:
Water retention: </> Aerolite scoria naturally absorbs and holds water and can be used to naturally drought proof gardens when used as a mulch or as a soil additive,  is also an ideal growing medium for use in soils, hydroponics mixes, growing and potting mixes.

Noise and Thermal Insulator:
Due to aerated structure Aerolite scoria is far superior than normal dense sands and aggregates in providing both thermal and noise insulation

Refractory Properties:
